Katrin Skala pecialises in psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry. After studying human medicine and philosophy in Vienna, she completed her training as a specialist in psychiatry in Vienna and France, followed by training as a specialist in child and adolescent psychiatry. In addition to her clinical work and teaching activities at the Medical University of Vienna, her work focuses on research into addiction and addiction development. She also works as a psychotherapist.
