Achraf Lansari (he/him) born and raised in Casablanca, is a multifaceted artist whose life revolves around movement and sound, with a background in dance and music that allows him to explore various avenues of expression, weaving his passions together along the way.
Achraf's artistic journey has taken him across Europe, where he has performed at festivals and events that celebrate the art of dance. In Heidelberg, he captivated audiences at the Karlstof Bahnof dance festival with "A Lila in the House," a solo piece that blends spirituality and rhythm.
He is also a dedicated teacher and mentor, sharing his knowledge with aspiring dancers. He has taught house dance and movement exploration, inspiring students to find their voice through movement. His work with the street dance artivism program at Mince e.v and the Choreology Dance Program in Greece reflects his commitment to empowering others through dance.
As the founder of Dansethik, a dance NGO, Achraf uses his art to make a difference, promoting dance as a tool for social change.
Today, He continues to explore the "why," "what," and "how" of distinctive black dance cultures, driven by a belief in the transformative power of art. His journey is one of exploration and connection, where every step brings him closer to exploring the profound impact of movement and sound.
