The Vienna Club Commission (VCC) is a free service hub addressing all matters related to Vienna's club and event sector. Tasked by the City of Vienna, the VCC’s mission is to promote, represent, and protect local club culture. For the first time, the Vienna Club Commission is hosting a conference on urban nightlife with a focus on club culture in Vienna.
The conference will take place from 14-16 November 2024, in partnership with three internationally renowned organisations for urban nightlife: NIGHTS from the European network NEWNet, the international conference Stadt nach Acht from Berlin, and the global network VibeLab from Amsterdam.
The Vienna Club Commission and the Vienna After Dark Conference are dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience and fostering a respectful environment for all. We ask of you to do the same. This applies to all attendees, guests, participants, volunteers, and staff in both on- and offline spaces associated with the conference.
The Vienna After Dark Conference is committed to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, neurotype, physical appearance, age, race, ethnicity, nationality, language, or religion.
During the Conference
We understand that conferences can be overwhelming, even more so, when some of the topics could be potentially triggering for attendees. If you feel uncomfortable at any given moment during a conference format, know that you can always leave the space and come back whenever you like. If you need assistance or see a situation in which a person might need help, please go directly to our info stand in the foyer of the Stadtkino or speak to one of our staff members. Our staff members are identifiable by their Vienna After Dark T-shirts.
If there is something you would like to share with the Vienna Club Commission anonymously, please refer to this feedback form.
