$teven Ra$pa is an artist, arts advocate, pacifist, community organizer and long-time event producer for Burning Man Project. He regularly speaks on art, urban planning, nightlife and culture. Raspa has over 30 years event production experience and has worked with numerous cultural organizations, cities, non-profits, night clubs, and museums. As a founding member of Burning Man’s Regional Network, he has a wide range of experience supporting hundreds of regional gatherings and a globally dispersed community of artists and freethinkers. $teven Ra$pa was named by 944 magazine as one of the most influential people in San Francisco nightlife and culture, although he had an even earlier artistic life in the vibrant NYC East Village art scene of the 1980s. He has been a poet, sculptor, installation artist, creative director, and living work of art. His present medium of choice is “social reality”.
