Osive invites you into a realm of musical exploration where synthesizer sounds intertwine with organic rhythms. He navigates the boundaries of music from laid-back Lofi to captivating basslines and pulsating dance and electronic beats.
Originally influenced by the sound aesthetics of J Dilla, Nujabes, Flying Lotus, Hudson Mohawke,
Mr. Carmack and many more, Osive embarked on a musical journey.
Embracing the freedom to produce whatever brings joy, he crafts a creative fusion of styles.
In July 2023, Osive released his first edit pack, featuring 10 Edits across genres like Hip Hop, RnB, afrobeats, amapiano, trap, UK garage, grime and bass music. Created for the club scene, the pack blends different sounds and vibes, showcasing Osive's unique style.
The pack gained attention when one of his edits was featured by Joe Kay, founder of Soulection, during his Boiler Room set at a festival in London. Since then, DJs and music lovers worldwide have been downloading the pack, marking Osive as a rising talent to watch.
His first ventures into vocal collaborations with local artists like Esches, Meydo, Kerosin95, Boltn, Eloquent, Xing and Philiam Shakesbeat add a dynamic layer to Osive’s evolving sonic landscape.
