Karoline Lucks has been active in various roles in the cultural and event sector for over 10 years: whether as part of the collectively run club Mensch Meier in Berlin, which had to close in January 2024, as a booker (including Fusion Festival, at.tension Festival) for music programmes, co-organiser of the ‘Emergent Bass’ series, as a DJ under the alias Punani or in production management at major festivals - Karoline's work always revolves around community and maintaining and fighting for spaces for it.
She is currently writing her master's thesis in cultural management in Berlin, focusing on diversity-conscious curation, inclusion and organisational development.
