Dóra Czövek (she/none) studied sociology, psychology and psychotherapy and works as one of the AwA* association's chairpersons, primarily in the areas of education and organisation. Her current focus is on creating minimum standards in the area of awareness and bringing people closer to everyday life. As part of her master's thesis, Dóra is researching awareness work as a new field of work and the effects of the presence of AwA* people on guests.

AwA*

• Visualising and reflecting on power and discrimination structures
• Focus on creating safer spaces through educational work, providing awareness teams, but also advising event locations and setting up contact points
• Creation of, and advice on, awareness concepts and codes of conduct
• Workshops on awareness (shift workers, event organisers, everyday people, etc.)

Dóra Czövek (she/none) studierte Soziologie, Psychologie und Psychotherapie und arbeitet als eines der Vereins-Vorstehenden der AwA* vor allem im Bereich Bildung und Organisatorisches. Aktuelle Schwerpunkte liegen vor allem bei der Schaffung von Mindeststandards im Bereich Awareness, sowie dem Näherbringen an Alltagspersonen. Im Rahmen der eigenen Masterarbeit erforscht Dóra Awareness-Arbeit als neues Arbeitsfeld und die Effekte der Präsenz von AwA-Personen auf Gäst*Innen.

AwA*

• Sichtbarmachung und Reflektion von Macht- und Diskriminierungsstrukturen
• Schwerpunkt auf der Schaffung von Safer Spaces durch Bildungsarbeit, Bereitstellung von Awareness-Teams, aber auch Beratung von Eventlocations und Aufbau von Anlaufstellen
• Erstellung von, und Beratung zu, Awareness-Konzepten und Codes of Conduct
• Workshops rund um Awareness (Schichtpersonen, Veranstaltende, Alltagspersonen,etc.)
