Cristina Biasetto is head of department for the UNESCO 2003 Convention on Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) at the Austrian Commission for UNESCO. With academic degrees in cultural and social anthropology, as well as art history from the University of Vienna, she initially worked in the art market and social entrepreneurship sectors. Since 2020, she has been actively involved in implementing the Convention in Austria. Her key responsibilities include coordinating Austria’s national inventory of ICH and developing safeguarding measures to promote, enhance, and support intangible cultural heritage at both national and international levels.
