Başak Tüsüz is an architect, curator, and researcher based in Copenhagen. Her work integrates theory and practice, drawing on interdisciplinary dialogues that combine art, design, technology, architecture and cultural criticism. She is passionate about creating narratives and experiences that explore the intersections of these fields, focusing on how they shape human experience.

Başak has involved in exhibition development, production and festival management, communication, and design in international projects across Berlin, Istanbul, Aalborg, and Łódź. As a cultural manager at Top e.V. in Berlin, she hosted events and exhibitions, managed artist communications, and created the AI Walk Aisle for Genius Loci Weimar Festival. She has worked closely with diverse stakeholders, including esteemed artists, architects, and community members, fostering an inclusive and diverse environment.

She is currently writing her MA thesis on the transformation of the body into a medium within rave culture, investigating how this dynamic force co-creates the sensory landscape of raving and turns individual experiences into collective narratives. Her research further examines how embodied experiences in rave spaces shape social encounters, influencing interpersonal relationships, aesthetics, perceptions, and the interplay between people and space.
