Creating Club-Cultural Structures for the Community, by the Community
Thu, 14.11.
17:00–18:30
The crucial relationship between a space and its community is reflected not only in its physical 4 corners, but also in how it is organised, operated, and inevitably, how it is funded. Collaborative ownership, alternative funding, and partnerships with NGOs help communities create and sustain cultural and nightlife spaces despite economic challenges like rising property costs, real estate pressures, or city planning conflicts. This session aims to highlight experiences of community-driven approaches and alternatives.
